Hillside Veterinary Centre - about us
We are a small animal vets, located on the main road through Corfe Mullen, near Wimborne and Broadstone and within easy reach of Poole Harbour in Dorset – a beautiful part of the country.
Having been established since 1997 as a one vet practice, we have grown into a dedicated and passionate team of four vets, four nurses, three receptionists and two support staff.
We all have the same passion – an undeniable love of animals. We have pets of our own that are part of the family and we always strive to treat our patients as we would want our own pets treated - with love, care, understanding and a gentleness that is required when pets are feeling a little under the weather.
It’s important to us at Hillside that both you (the owner) and your pet feel comfortable when visiting and we will always do all we can to ensure this. Our waiting area is divided into separate cat and dog areas to help reduce stress (particularly for cats and rabbits) and any discomfort. We always have fresh coffee and tea on offer if there is a need for a short wait for some reason and we'll always lend an ear or a shoulder.
We firmly believe that prevention is better than cure and offer a range of clinics and preventative health care and advice.

‘Looking for a rabbit savvy vet’
I was recommended Hillside by the RWAF as I had to change vets. After a very promising initial consultation I booked in one of my rabbits to be spayed, she was operated on yesterday. I was so pleased with the staff, the care of Truffle whilst in their care and all the post op care offered I knew without hesitation that I had done the right thing; my rabbits will get gold star service from the entire team.

I received a text and email to remind us Wookie's worming treatment is due, which is great it not only reminds us it due but allows us time to walk up with Wookie pop her on the scales and buy the treatment a week or so before the 12 weeks is up (meaning we definitely don't forget) - the only thing is we can't actually walk past the vets without Wookie pulling me to go in, she loves the attention from everyone and also the treats from whoever is on reception - it was Beccie this time. Wish I was this excited about going to the dentist or doctors.
Recommended Hillside Vets to a family who are moving to Corfe Mullen today who have a retriever they were very grateful as they didn't know the area.
