OUT OF HOURS EMERGENCY VETERINARY COVER

What to do if you need a vet in an emergency…

Hillside operates an out of hour’s emergency veterinary service with Black Dragon Ltd -

The clinic operates out of the PDSA PetAid Hospital in Moordown and their address is:

70 Castle Lane West
Moordown
Bournemouth BH9 3JU

Black Dragon is a specialist veterinary emergency service who provides emergency cover
and treatment for Hillside clients and their animals. Their telephones are answered by
an experienced veterinary nurse and a veterinary surgeon and nurse live on site during
this period.

The emergency service operates at the following times:

Weekdays: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Bank Holidays
6.30pm – 8.30am (the following morning)

Wednesday
8pm – 8.30am (the following morning)

Weekends: Saturday
5pm - Monday, 8.30am

Directions from Corfe Mullen:

* Take the A31 towards Ringwood

* At the Merley roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A314 (signposted Bournemouth)

* At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit staying on the A314 onto Oakley Hill

* Turn left at the traffic lights onto Queen Anne Drive (A341)

* At the Bear Cross roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Wimborne Road (A341 signposted
Bournemouth)

* At the Northbourne roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Whitelegg Way (A327 signposted
Bournemouth)

* At the Redhill roundabout take the 1st exit onto Wimborne Road (A3060 signposted
Lyndhurst A35)

* The PDSA PetAid Hospital is about half a mile further on the right-hand side
